The 2013 UNDERWEARNESS Drop Your Drawers & Run Wild 5K Run and Denver Zoo After Party will be held on Friday evening, May 31, at City Park and the Denver Zoo. This family-friendly event will feature a 5K run/walk in City Park and private access to the Denver Zoo for post-race festivities. For those that don't wish to participate in the 5K, a zoo-only registration is available. This is the 4th annual fundraising event and the after party in the Denver Zoo will include live music, drinks, and chances to win prizes. UNDERWEARNESS is 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization providing new underwear to children in need.
All participants (5K or Zoo entry) receive the following:
1. Zoo entry to the Denver Zoo private event (zoo will be closed to the public at this time) – including access to the Toyota Elephant Passage.
2. T-shirt with 2013 race design.

3. Goodie bag with various discounts and offers.
4. 2 drink tickets (must be over 21 and present ID for alcoholic beverages). *Please note the zoo does not allow outside food or drinks. Food will be available for sale within the zoo (cash only).
5. Bib and chip timer (race is professionally timed by Colorado Race Timing, LLC) for 5K participants - results will be posted on underwearness.org after the race.

Group Discounts
• Register as part of a team (minimum of 4 participants per team) for the 5K and get $5 off each participant registration fee

5K Race Course
• Follows a full 5k (3.1 mile) route and tracks along the city’s 5280 contour line at City Park so you’re exercising at exactly a mile high! Visit the UNDERWEARNESS homepage for additional information on the race route.

Start Times/Locations
• Race starts between the southeast side of the Zoo and the Museum of Natural History at 6:30pm. The Denver Zoo doors will open at 6:30pm.

Water Stations & Restrooms
• Water stations will be available at the start/finish line and near mile markers 1 and 2. Porta potties will be available at the start/finish line.

Event Parking
• Free parking is available in the parking lots or garage adjacent to the Denver Zoo.

Volunteer Opportunities Available
• If you would like to help at the finish line until your family member crosses or if you would like to volunteer for any part of the race - setup, race day, cleanup, etc, please email Leigh at info@underwearness.org.
