A PIRATE'S LIFE FOR ME!
BENEFITING THE LEUKEMIA AND LYMPHOMA SOCIETY
Have you ever wanted to be a pirate? Many of us have at one time or another harbored a secret or not-so secrete desire to don a tri corner hat, fake missing appendages, and ridiculous manners of speech, all in the name channeling our inner privateer. But, maybe we've had some misgivings about the less flashy side of things--pillaging, murdering, and living life in a wine-red haze of indistinct anger towards the bourgeoise class. Maybe, we've dreamed of being a pirate, but a pirate with a higher purpose, and maybe a diet more varied than salt pork, hard tack, and the bitter taste of lost opportunities.
Your days of wondering are over. Captain jack is here, and he wants YOU to run in his 8k race on Sunday, April 15th to help combat the negative image of pirates with the fine citizens of Kirkland, and more importantly, to raise money to pillage and destroy lymphoma and leukemia. All net proceeds from Captain Jack's 8k will be donated the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society.
