Tucson Bicycle Classic

What: A three day USA Cycling stage race (time trial, road race, circuit race). Riders MUST complete each stage in order to start the next stage.
When: TT- Friday afternoon, March 2nd; Road Race Saturday a.m., March 3rd, Circuit Race Sunday a.m., March 4th. For course layouts and times see the Tucson Bicycle Classic website.
Where: West Tucson / Southwest Tucson area. For exact locations and detailed maps see Tucson Bicycle Classic website.
Safety: CPSC or ASTM approved hard-shell helmets and current USA Cycling or approved international license are mandatory.

PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY - NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!!
Mailed registrations must be postmarked no later than Feb. 21, 2012. Online-Registration Closes Feb. 27th at 11 PM PST. NO EXCEPTIONS!

CHECK-IN: All categories check-in at Stage 1 on Friday, March 2nd between 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Stage 1 Time Trial starts are approximate. NO RESTARTS. No late start requests, category changes or race day registration. Check-in for racers closes at 4:00 p.m.

Late Fees: A $10 late fee for Juniors and a $15 late fee for all others will be added to ALL online & mailed entries postmarked after Feb 17, 2012.

REFUNDS: A $15 processing fee will be retained on all pre-registered entries who cancel prior to Feb 26, 2012. No Refunds after February 26, 2012. NO EXCEPTIONS.

JR. RACERS: Junior men and women will race together in their respective categories but be scored separately as part of the Lance Armstrong Junior Race Series.

COLLEGIATE RACERS: No points on offer this year.

FIELD LIMITS: 100 per USA Cycling category except Cat 5 Men (50). If more than 50 Cat 5 men wish to register, there may be two categories made.

ENTRIES: Checks or money orders for mailed registrations should be made out and mailed to: Tucson Bicycle Classic, 8117 S. Pistol Hill Rd, Vail, AZ 85641. Please be sure to include race category and USA Cycling license number.

EVENT-LICENSE: $30.00 for the 3-day event for unlicensed racers. Unlicensed racers may only race in Category 5 men or Category 4 women. Must have an annual license in order to race Masters. USA CYCLING PERMIT 2012-57
