Smugglers’ Notch Resort & T.S.L. Snowshoes Present

The 11th ANNUAL NORTHERN VERMONT SNOWSHOE RACES AND FAMILY SNOWSHOE FESTIVAL!

Sunday, February 5th, 2012 • Registration begins at 9:00 am Smugglers’ Notch Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Adventure Center • Jeffersonville, Vermont

10:30 am • ½K (.3 mile) Kids Fun Run/Walk. $5 if received by February 1st, $6 thereafter.
11:00 am • 3½k (2.2 miles) Fun Run/Walk on friendly terrain with spectacular views. $12 if received by February 1st, $17 thereafter.
11:00 am • 8K* (4.97 miles) race on hilly, challenging loop course. $17 if received by February 1st, $22 thereafter.

Age division prizes for 8k: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over

*This is the 2012 Vermont State Chamionship and an official qualifier for the 2012 U.S. Snowshoe Association National Championship Race

Participants are encouraged to bring their own snowshoes. A limited number of snowshoes will be available, on a first come-first served basis, courtesy of Smugglers’ Notch Resort and TSL Snowshoes. Tasty refreshments for all snowshoers. Post race raffle will include a pair of TSL Snowshoes. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald House & the Cambridge Food Shelf.

Directions : Vermont Route 15 to Jeffersonville. Take Vermont Route 108 South 51/2 miles to main entrance to Smugglers’ Notch Resort. Look for race sign and follow the arrows to the proper parking lot. You will ride a Resort shuttle ½ mile to the Nordic Center, so plan to take your gear with you.
