About this event

Directions: From I-25, take the Hwy. 34 exit at Loveland. Go west on 34 (aka. Eisenhower Blvd.) through Loveland. As you begin to near the foothills, the Highway will converge from four lanes into two. Approx. 1 mile beyond this point will be the turn off for the trail on the right. It's marked by a small sign at the crest of a hill so keep your eyes peeled!

Parking: Parking is available at the trail head but is very limited. Please carpool, if possible

Timing: Chip timing? No baby we are going old school. After crossing the finish line you will be handed your overall placing on an index card. Please turn this card in ASAP

Course: The scenic 10k+ (~ 6.5 miles) course located in Devil’s Backbone Open Space. The race starts on pavement for .25 miles then heads on to the trail. The finish line will be located in the trail head parking lot. The course has rocks, dirt, hills, other trail users and wildlife. So leave your pretty racing flats at home and accept the challenge. The race will go on no matter if it raining, sleeting, snowing, hot or cold. So be prepare for anything its Colorado!
