HRCA Heritage Adventure 5K/10K Run

The 2012 Heritage/Adventure 5/10k has new and exciting courses. No more out and back for the 5kers, enjoy more of the HRCA Backcountry Wilderness Trails. 10kers, the new more challenging course brings you through the HRCA Trails as well with some interesting elevation changes along the way. Be sure to click on the map links below to check them out.

This course utilizes our HRCA Backcounty Wilderness trails and the Douglas County Trails. The run starts at Red Tail Park and follows the Dad Clark trail and the Rocky Gulch Trail. The course's challenging trail and scenic vistas are inspiring. There is only a small piece on sidewalk. Majority of the course is on dirt paths. Enjoy Native American activities, prize giveaways, food and beer.

Remember to bring your old running shoes to donate to oneworldrunning.com. They will get those shoes to athletes in need around the world. There will be bins placed around the vending area.

This run is a Bolder Boulder qualifier!!!!

Date: Saturday, April 7th, 2012
Time: 8:30 a.m.
Location: Red Tail Park (2674 Pemberly Ave, Highlands Ranch)

Parking: Parking will be available behind Mountain Vista High School. Give yourself plenty of time because there will be other activities going on at the same time, and a short walk to the start line. Follow the signs from the parking lot to the start/finish line. There is no race parking at Red Tail park.

Early Bird Registration: 5K - $30 / 10K - $35 (ends at 11:59 pm on March 24th)
2 weeks prior to race: 5K - $35 / 10K - $40 (ends at 12:00 pm on April 6th)
Race Day Registration: 5K - $40 / 10K - $45
*Race fees include a shirt, sizes to be distributed on a first come first serve basis on race morning.
*Race fees are non-refundable
