Important!
• You must bring photo ID to the race start and sign a waiver in order to participate. No ID, no Ride!
• Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied to race start by a parent or guardian who must sign the waiver.
• No riders under 12 years of age on race day will be permitted.
• Arrive Early! You must ride in your assigned slot to receive an official finish time. Your clock will start at your assigned time, regardless of when you actually cross the line – plan to be staging area ready to ride 5 minutes ahead of your start time. To allow for parking, waiver signing and packet pickup we recommend arriving an hour before your start time.

The Race
Location: Lookout Mountain, Golden
Time: 8 – 11 a.m.
250 Amateur riders will be invited to race against the clock and each other while they compete to be the King (and Queen) of Lookout Mountain and experience one of the Front Range’s premier climbs. Categories will be broken out depending on age, gender and experience. The following day, you will be able to watch the pros suffer on the same climb, knowing you have already conquered the toughest part of the last stage.

Start/Finish
• Start: Stone pillars at the bottom of Lookout Mountain Road.
• Finish: Sign-post just before the turn-off to Buffalo Bills Grave and Museum.

Start times will be enforced
Your start time is assigned at registration time. Check the roster above to see your start time. Your elapsed time clock will begin counting at your start time, whether you are there at that time or not. Be on time to receive your actual official finishing time. We recommend arriving an hour early to allow for parking and packet pickup, and plan to be in the staging area ready to ride 5 minutes before your start time.

Categories
The first place finisher in each of each category will receive a trophy, and the second and third place finishers will receive medals:

Definitions:
• Beginner: For those newer to the sport of cycling, with little or no experience racing
• Sport: Competitive cyclists with limited racing experience, looking for a greater challenge
• Expert: Very experienced bike racers

Starting Line Registration
All cyclists must pick up their packets at the starting line registration area.
Photo ID will be required for waiver signature validation.
Minors 18 and under must bring an adult parent or guardian to sign the waiver.
No riders under 12 years of age on race day will be permitted.
We recommend arriving an hour early to allow time for parking and packet pick-up.

Parking
Parking is limited at the base of Lookout Mountain. Riding to the start is recommended if possible. Once the on-street parking is full along 19th Street, the two recommended lots are:
- Former car dealership on 19th street ¼ east of 6th Ave intersection
- Jefferson County Administration Facilities, Jefferson County Parkway & 6th Ave (Use bike trail to ride approx. 1.5 miles to start)

Award Ceremony
The award ceremony will be held in Parfet Park in downtown Golden following the race. Check back for additional details.
