This Stage is awesome. Super fun single track, tons of climbing, but I didn't mind the climbing as much because I knew how sick the down hill would be.

Lots of climbing. In fact more climbing that I would really like to do on any given day. However the terrain is super cool riding way above tree line.

Holy death march. I thought I was going good at first, but then I got tired. Then i got really tired. It didn't matter what I ate or drank I just kept getting more tired all the way until I crawled across the finish line.

Its not every day you get to do a 3000 foot bomber downhill, similarly its not every day you hike with you bike on your back for 20 minutes at 12,500 feet but it is pretty awesome all the same.

Although this isn't an epic stage, it is fun, fast and it's my last chance to move up in the GC. It also makes me want to come back again next year because for once I am not decimated at the end of the day.
